My work drifts to many different periods of time, styles, cultures, and materials; yet the theme has remained unchanged throughout. Time; and the record of it is a process of retrieving the past. I am recording things as they were, are, and will be. Time destroys all things precious, all treasures, all cultures, all peoples of the world; nothing can escape it. In making a recording of the past and present I am briefly steering around time’s effects and preserving what I find important. I do this in hopes that before the important things and myself are gone from this world that I can pass on both their and my memories. In recording things, I am recording myself.

So...

I finally finished drawing page 10, just need to color it. It should be up in a few days. I'm really hoping that over the Thanksgiving break that I can get a few pages finished. I still have to work, just not at the school...I'm hoping to introduce Chek, Zephyr, and Celion before the break is over.

As for the jewelry, I should have some up in a little while. On Monday I'm taking a bunch of fine silver wire to the studio to make some roman chain. It's about the only thing I can make outside of the studio because of my lacking an anvil and torch. Soon though...soon. :P
